Just wanted to thank you for the Archocentrus nigrofasciatus pair!

They have taken well to their tank and have already displayed breeding behavior....the female has taken to a particular cave while the male is in and out of it so I expect fry within the next week or so!

Get a tank ready cause you will soon have more Archocentrus nigrofasciatus then you know what to do with! Kinda cool cause these are the very first fish I have ever bred over 14yrs ago.

As a reminder they both (if they are the ones I am thinking you got) come with a born on date of 6/21/07

It's kinda funny....for whatever reason I can't stop watching them....I bred these when I was about 13yo and shortly after starting playing with the different strains...pink, black, calico and even HRP's to see how the babies would come out...then I got a job and moved on to bigger better things. For whatever reason these guys just take it back to the old school for me and I'm enjoying the crap out of them!

I will not give you any to be used as feeders...these are just as hard to come by as rrocket2002's blue crays.


I will share some with you so you can enjoy watching nature taking it's course though   but you have to record it so I can compile a youtube of "when aquatic predators attack in our homes".

Naw, I threw them in a 20g long that I have running for use of a QT but won't be needing the QT right now.

Ek, you can bring some around and feed him yourself. Or i'll video it and bring it to the next meeting.

Im feeding him haustrum snails, rosie reds, cocktail shrimp, bloodworms and eventually i'll get a ghost shrimp tank running.

my two pair from the same batch have have at least 5 groups of fry.  My dominant male is palm size and has a domed head...MACHO MACHO man ;-)
