    Btw Ek.. as soon as the female left the tank at Mike's another Female showed her colors and there is another pair starting to look really good at Mike's now :)
    I was thinking to myself yesterday... did you grab the right pair ?

          The female has colored up like crazy since I got her lots and lots of solid orange and the male is looking good as well...nice trailers and noticeable gold finnage!

          They have been getting nothing but NLS since and they love it!

            Awesome :)  yeah I am starting to slowly letting all my old foods run out and changing fish over to NLS.
            I like Tetra Cichlid Crisps, they are good for the vegi eaters...  and its a good size flake, ie there is actual mass to the flake not just nothing.

            Hope Delock can get the NLS order up and running soon.  Next week or something like that when I have some money again I need to head out to Mike's and give him some money.... and buy some NLS... because I want my other cichlids now to start on that stuff...

              I actually went ahead and made some contacts about a group buy and according to the man behind NLS, Pablo, we are going to have to find a distributor locally or what not to offer the group buy to keep everyone happy.

              I have a few other people I can talk to so if and when its official we can go forth from there.

                When I saw this thread, I had to look up what Archocentrus nigrofasciatus. I'm not into SA's, so the scientific names are unfamiliar to me. Lo and behold, Q has some lovely little convicts...

                    yeah i kinda figured out they were convicts by people refering to the babies as food and feeders. lol but hey they do keep a breeding and it is fun to watch them work.

                      It looks like there are millions of free swimmers!!!

                      So far the parents seem to be doing a superb job! With all my past experience with them if the parents were bad the babies would have been gone by now... the female is super protective about her cave and the male wards off all the others that come by have now been moved out of the tank.
