I have a few pairs (2 - 3 inch long) of albino bristlenose plecos in my community tank (with discus, tetras and german blue rams). One of the ABN pair must have decided to get it on recently. I did not see any eggs laid but when I did a water change a few weeks ago, I saw 2 little ABN fries cligging onto a small crevice of a piece of driftwood. I quickly moved the 2 remaining babies to a separate tank. They are about 1/2" long now. I figured the rest of the fries probably were eaten by discus, tetras and rams. Not sure which pair actually spawned but I have since moved all 3 pairs to a separate breeding tank. Does anyone know about the breeding cycle of bristlenose pleco?
