Growing up!! Pics of Blue Koi angelfish wigglers

Just thought you might want to see some angelfish babies. They're now in a 2.5 g tanklet. They fell off the leaf and are clustered on the bottom in a vibrating mass. Some make erratic forays careening across the tank. I've started putting a very slight amount of baby brine in w/ them. The blue water coloration is from methylene blue solution which was to keep the eggs from fungusing over. I've started water changes with the "mother" tank water so the blue will dissipate. Can't wait til they start totally free-swimming around and gobbling the brine. :)

Cameo -- sweet !!  Yeah when the angels get brine they start growing quick.  As soon as they start eating brine, my friend who breed angels would every day use an airhose on his tank and suck out all the dead debris + poop out for the first days until all the wrigglers where free swimming.  He told me, if you dont do this the angels will sit in the ammonia producing debris and their pectoral fins would end up curly from damage.

I think Cameo knows what to do....I remember Charles showing me the tons of other angels she had bred.....now that He has his own LFS it's probably a good thing now.

They appear to have roaming priviledges to the entire house, I guess you could compare them to free roaming chickens

nice parents, my 4 koi angels are very nice looking too, nice form and finnage, good yellow/gold koi colors, but i think they are all same sex, because they are almost adults now and still have not paired up :?
