breeding German Rams Q&A's

I have some rams that are breeding in one of my tanks and
have know idea what to do. This is not the first time, a few week ago I
noticed the male guarding a new clutch of eggs that were layed
on a lotas leaf. Few weeks go by and all the eggs disappeared with
no fry in sight. Now there is a new clutch on the same leaf and I wanted
to know what next, what can I do to make sure these guy survive?

6 cardinal tetra
4 rummy nose tetra
1 fancy guppy
1 clown loach
3 S.A.E
6/8 nerite snails
1/2 Amano shrimp

Keep a lights on over the eggs at night but those tetras are crafty. The parents have to be especially vigilant once the eggs hatch...or move them to their own tank.
