Just wanted to post this link, because I've learned so much over the years from this site, especially regarding brackish systems.

I have to +1 Mzungu, the amount of effort it takes for a non brackish fish to survive in those conditions, is equal to you sprinting up and down Kilomanjaro on a dialy basis. you can live, but you will be exhausted and you will definately not live as long as if you did not do that. There really are a ton of cool brackish fish.Life's to short to worry and too long to wait
