i'm using 1 teaspoon of aquarium pharmaceuticals salt per gallon. that's double the direction on the box, but my guppies look like they thrive in it, and it keep the fungus at bay.

is this anywhere close to brachish water? and i'm trying to make a diy java moss wall. have anyone ever kept java moss in a brackish aquarium?

Java moss will do fine with aquarium salt. True brackish requires marine salt and it wont live in that.
