a friend of mine has a 10" malawi eye biter (dimidichromis comprisseps) I hope I spelled that right. anywho, she has it an a 29g and it is way to cramped. she wants to give it to me to put into my 120g sa/ca cichlid tank. will this work out. I've been told a thousand times before not to mix new world and old world but I've seen it done many times before. any advice?

What do you have in your 120 already? When full grown, 10 malawi eye biters won't leave much room for anything else...

I know very little about the fish in question but with a name like that I would probably pass.

The temperments of many of these fish are highly individualized. I've kept a D. comprisseps with oscars and Jack Dempseys before with no problems.
