what happens when a fish person is without tank, do they need to go to others houses so they dont go through withdrawal, i know i have trouble sleeping without the sound of running water.

I don't know what your exact situation is, but do you have any kind of financial recourse for this? insurance or a store guarantee? I know a tank of that size doesn't come cheap.

D Very sorry to hear that. I loved that tank.

I know this was asked in an earlier post but can any of the tank be salvaged. I couldnt tell from the picture but was it just the bottom only? I am thinking that a acrylic bottom in 1" might do the trick as a replacement. If it was the bottom only then I am interseted in it for sure. Let me know brotha. Also if you have another in the works. I may want to get in on it as a group discount if possible. I missed out on CF's big tank so???

cf still have his big tank

the tank is trash...you will have to take the entire tank apart to fix the bottom

Please forgive me but I dont understand when people say that a tank has to be completely taken apart. Do the panels interlock together. If the bottom is trashed then why not flip it over and cut all the bottom out and then just replace the bottom. I have been thinkin about this all morning.

I guess someone has to decide if its worth the time and effort to repair. I think I would be willing to give it a shot. I actually have a pretty smart idea to make things even stronger than it was to start with.

                              Come on D

                                Its not worth it.
Cutting out that glass is a major pain and the cost to replace that pane of glass it a lot.
