We started out as reef keepers and so today we went to MACNA http://www.macnaxviii.com/
It was VERY cool and we got lots of neat freebies. There was plenty that we would have liked to buy as well, but our pocketbook couldn't support the desires.
After MACNA we went to Village Tropical and I was excited to pick up 3 crypts, a wisteria and a couple of other plants along with 20 simulans. They all got plunked into my 10g low tech tank after acclimation. It's a very basic tank, but I'm pretty happy with it. It's something to mess with while I'm working on my 40g.
If anyone is interested NASH (Nature Aquarium Society of Houston) is having a meeting tomorrow at ADG and the speaker will be talking about fertilizing.
