Well I just bought a 5 foot, 110gallon tank that was supposed to be for my Discus. I have my discus in my 125 now, and they were scared to swim all the way across for a while, so I went and got them a shorter tank(the 110). So I get this tank home...and the Discus all of sudden love their the 6 feet of swimming space. they are constantly swimming back and forth. I dont want to move them now that they are comfortable, So what fish should I put in the 110? I know I want it to be african...you decide!

Hmm...aside from a handful of colorful peacocks, malawi's are relatively boring to me. Not much of a personality
Fronts really need a minimum of a 6' tank as they are very skiddish fish and will knock themselves into the glass if startled causing stress, etc.
I think your best bet here with this tank size is tropheus. Nothing beats the personality. They're constantly herding in one big group, hyper all the time, they have interesting habits in their eating and breeding and just overall very fun to watch. Don't limit yourself on filtration and you could easily get away with a colony of 30-40 in there.
Of course, I am biased.

I really want to do Trophs, but my girlfriend does not want them at all. She wants me to buy her a MBU puffer instead. I was gonna make it into a Trinity River tank, but its just not big enough. All I can spend is about $200 on the fish. If there is anybody out there who has some trophs for sale around that price shoot me a pm. I just dont want to buy tiny fish, I think I would get bored with them before they had a chance to get big.250gallon-Wild Angels, community

200 can get you a nice started colony. But you not getting anything over2 inches for that price. Ask Dan about getting you some from GSI!
