  • Outrageous Bacteria Bloom

I drained my 65g tank down 100% so that i could properly clean all the glass and filters. I kept the original PFS in it so that i WOULDNT have a bacteria bloom. I only cleaned one of the filters and i left a bunch of the fake plants in it from before. I filled it up like usual, and treated it the same. I let it run for a few hours and then I dropped in about 15 WC Perch yesterday. i got up today and literally couldnt see into the back of the tank. Is there an "easy" way to fix this problem? I suspect its because i put in so many fish at one time...

If the tank had nothing in there then its bacteria bloom.

If all the filters were turned off while you drained and cleaned once restarted the filters flooded the tank with ammonia from dead bacteria.
