wow I would have never guessed that. I Would have thought that there would be some sort of toxins in them. No wonder I could never find anything like what they use. thanksPeople who stand for nothing will fall for everything.

The ones I found at Garden Ridge were the same ones Fish Gallery has. I've bought from both places. Had to do a little digging and as it goes with Garden Ridge they may or may not have it. I found mine at the Nasa Road location in their plastic plant section. Paid like 3.00 each for them.

I will look in to it all. I have a new 60 corner tank that is bare at the moment. Got a steal on kingwoodyardsales.com $50 for the tank stand light filter and mutch more. So now my wife and I are trying to figgure out what to do with it and what to stock it with. we keep leaning towards discus again and possibly angels.People who stand for nothing will fall for everything.

+1 on the hobby lobby, thats where all of my plastic plants come from
i soak them in a solution of 95%water & 5% bleach, for ~ 2 hours.
then i rinse them under straight tap water for ~ 20 minutes, and then i soak them in 12g rubbermaid container full of warm water and dechlorinator for ~ 1hour, then in the tank they goFRENCH FRY!!!
