know where ADG gets their plastic plants from. All I keep running across is the cheep petsmart style plants.

Try Hobby Lobby or Michals here in Humble. You have to keep an eye out, they will put them on sale for half off ever now and again. Make sure the plants do not have any exposed metal.

You have to bleach them first...then soak them in water with dechlorinator. If not, your tank can turn green or whatever color plastic you get.

          +1 on no metal showing.

ADG gets i'd say 75% of their plants from Fish Gallery. I tried the Hobby Lobby thing but non of it looked good in my tanks. Xtreme has some cool stuff, but nothing beats Fish Gallery in my opinion.

The ones I found at Garden Ridge were the same ones Fish Gallery has. I've bought from both places. Had to do a little digging and as it goes with Garden Ridge they may or may not have it. I found mine at the Nasa Road location in their plastic plant section. Paid like 3.00 each for them.

I will look in to it all. I have a new 60 corner tank that is bare at the moment. Got a steal on kingwoodyardsales.com $50 for the tank stand light filter and mutch more. So now my wife and I are trying to figgure out what to do with it and what to stock it with. we keep leaning towards discus again and possibly angels.

+1 on the hobby lobby, thats where all of my plastic plants come from

                            i soak them in a solution of 95%water & 5% bleach, for ~ 2 hours.
then i rinse them under straight tap water for ~ 20 minutes, and then i soak them in 12g rubbermaid container full of warm water and dechlorinator for ~ 1hour, then in the tank they go
