  • Cloudy Water *Update*

Well, i waited about a week before i did a water change in hopes that my beneficial bacteria would settle in and things have been great. I have seen a HUGE improvement in the water quality. I did a 30% water change today and the tank cleared up even more.

Part of what i thought was "cloudy" was actually air bubbles. I had a spray bar flowing right through a bubble machine and it was throwing tiny bubbles all over my tank, making it look cloudy. That problem has been solved.

I'm gonna wait another 5 days before i do another water change and i'll update again. Thank you everybody for your invaluable advice.

The cloudy part can also be from your water changes, water under very high pressure introduced into a large water basin (aquarium) can have micro bubbles form because of the water under high pressure compresses the air and as the pressure is released so is the air from the water.
