    Look what was unveiled at aquarama this year!
    Somebody invented a chemical that allows Freshwater & SW fish to live in the same tank...

    Too good to be true????

      wow..until I saw that idol in there with the gold fish, I was like...yeah well..they have been tank raising percula clowns for a long time now, they may have adapted. Then you scroll down and wow..looks amazing

          I don't know if I like that or not. If fresh and salt water fish were meant to live together, don't you thing they would have been made to?

            I think someone who mixes Central and South American Cichlids, with African Cichlids...

            or people that mix Asian Tropicals with South American Tropicals would have no problem mixing them.

            Then why would Salt Water and Freshwater be any different?

              if you look at the marine fish they are shallow water fish that live near fresh water runoffs. So they are able to live in low salt levels if needed.

                    Seems kinda creepy. Can anyone think of any good examples where salt and fresh would look good together?

                      I read about this in Pet Product News a few years ago.
                      The secret was an additive in the water and food that had to be maintained in order for sw fish to live in a fw environment.

                      There's always brackish!
