another thing that gets me about discus besides being sissies is there is only a few pure variants and then people crossbreeds to get all the colors.just about any fish out there could be made into a purty fish by doing this.just like buying malawi cichlids from walmart, never know what your going to get!!!!

Is that anything like russ pulling up a video claiming those or his too.
Yes those fishes are his, I've know Brian for almost 2 years now. I have several other friends in Ohio that have been to his place and confirm so. And he only got points for each variant he had whether a picture was posted or a video.
Who says a Discus is a wus. Mine will throw down and get it done. Now I know this isnt the best video as it is from my cell. But enjoy we should get some points for this.

Try this I cant figure out how to post the pic
Darbex, those are the same variants that you posted pictures before, correct?
Well, since I wasn't able to take pictures last weekend, and Geoff's not posting any, does this count? It's a picture (bad cell phone picture, but oh well) of Petrochromis Trewavasae fry and a Tropheus Lunangwa in the tank in the background...
trophs/petro = 26 (2 point added)

2) f1 Tropheus Lunangwa posted by MB
All the pictures I posted are of different discus I have owned or currently own. (I've kept discus for more than 15 years, but of course I didn't have a digital camera that long ago - so pictures are probably from the past 7 years). All pictures were taken by me. I've had a lot of different types of discus.
Thank you for sharing that. Please post variant name with pictures so points can be added accordingly. Unlike WVG, you have the decency to even tell me they were different. Points will be added.
I have more pics, but I got tired of posting. If Dan (formerly of HAW) ever decided to add to this thread, discus would win, but just in number of pictures/variants. There are more petro/troph lovers in fishkeeping. Discus always have been a remarkable fish, but certainly are not for the beginning or casual fishkeeper.
Terry
I was thinking that too. If Dan's in then Mike's (TTT) is in. But Mike is more hobbyist then a store front. That's a whole debate for another day as the two of them have not posted a thing on here yet.
