Is it possible to have a large variety of dwarf cichlids in a 75g tank?

    Okay, so that won't work.

I'm also having second thoughts on the petricola cats. I was reading that their high temp is around 75°. My tanks generally stay around 80°. So I'd fry their cute tails off.

    Darn.

Neolamprologus -- be careful !!! List what you want before you go buy it.. reason is, they can depending on what they are, be VERY aggressive little guys. Some Neo's are peaceful, others are outright killers...
Thank you for the warning! I'll look for peaceful ones.

I will most certainly post anything I'm thinking of getting before getting it so I can get feedback. I very much appreciate all the help!

If you have time, run down to City Pets and see if they have the tank you are looking for. They usually have a lot of tanks in stock.

Again if you decide to go with a Tanganyika tank I would recommend getting a 90RR and a wet/dry filtration. Lake Tang is a very clean and highly oxygenated environment and a wet/dry is really the best solution to repeat their natural best.

        I recommend getting a pro/clear 125 with a 90 setup and a Mag 9.5 as the pump.
Temp is to be kept between 78-80 degrees.

Just did some reading on the Petricola.. they want between 75-80.. 80 for spawning to occur.

I know its going to be difficult to make decisions, but I hope with all the help we can give you, that you will come out on top :)

I know once you start looking at all the fish out there available, Lake Tang can give you such a pleasure with all sorts of fun things to look at :)
