  • question about inkfin calvus eggs

noticed an ink fin guarding some eggs today. i guess the fry will be a snack for the other 14 cichlids unless i can get them out. do the eggs stick to the object they rest on? what do i need to do to salvage the eggs and who wants them?

Are these the guys you got from me? If so, good job. I really couldnt help you with that one, look up the guy selling calvus in th WTS section. He breeds alot of them and should be able to help you(BTW hes in Dallas).

          Jeff,

I do not think the eggs stick. I know it' stoo late this time. But, is there a male in the tank? The eggs are no good unless fertilized. Also, if you could get her to lay the eggs in a shell it would be easier next time. Once they are wiglers, you could take them out.
