- people who collect wild fish, put them into a bucket, take them home and dump them into their aquarium and hope they live. when they die a few days later, they "just go catch some more."

    - people who dump their "undesirable" fish into the bayou. ("the fish got too big for my tank", "I don't like it anymore", "I want to keep something else", etc.)

How overpriced everything has gotten in the last year and a half.

3 years ago Rena XP3 was $99. Now the exact same model, nothing has been improved, and it is $150.

Eheim 2260 was $230 then, now its $350

Fluval FX5 was $199 then, now its $299

Everything filtration wise I look at to buy has increased by atleast 50% most items.

I hate people that will not listen and over stock aquariums with way too many fish, and the excuse they give is this is how they are living in the pet stores and how they are stocking them... geez...

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? lfs that dont give a crap about the health and care of the animals they sell, and are only concerned about how much money they can make.

lfs who will sell someone something without explaining the basic requirements to keep said animal.

LFS that sells a pleco that will get 16"-18" to someone for a 10 gal tank. And there's a tank full of BN right next to the tank the pleco came from.

Don't tap the freakin' glass. Don't even touch the glass. This applies to computer monitors also.

People who want to jump in head first without asking questions or doing research, and when everything goes bad - they blame everyone else.

People who say they have had tanks recently, but while setting up their current tank, they don't understand when you bring up cycling (or the simple basics of fish keeping that always apply no matter what fish you keep).

When Mike used to have his store.. each of the tanks showed "adult size" on all his fish prices.. he said after doing that it helped a lot of stopping people from buying Pacu's red tailed catfish, pleco etc because they could see.. they would not do well in their 20g tank

Thank you, glad to see I'm not the only one who can't stand it when parents let their little monsters run unattended in the fish store.
