He has building plans for a angle iron an aluminum stand....basically all metal welded solid frame, an a sheet metal base under the tank for a solid bottom over the bar braces. I will get more specs as it goes.

Trophs/petros or predator tank (bass/catfish/etc.). Either one works and would be awesome!

If the tank is outside then something that can handle the outside weather, as your heating bill for the thing will be to much. If indoors I would go for a tank with Tanganyika fish. Man the spawnings would be incredible in this setup.. Filtration ? What to get right ? Reverse wetdry would be the route to be here.. Pump the water out of the tank and into the wet/dry and the water returns back into the tank by gravity. It would require to build about a 4ft wet/dry but with your hubby's capabilities I dont think it would be hard at all.

I'd do a group of 12 oscars and driftwood. Thats it.

Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

I thought this too...but an VERY worried about the legality, not to mention, having kids around the tank, an the other critters we keep here.
