Hubby is ordering the glass for the sides in a week. Got to wait for the weather to dry up a little before he tries to weld anything for the stand....still a long ways to go. He says it is going to be his winter project. An an update on the other tank..the 162gal he built. It was 1/4 inch thick plate, an it is still holding water, an is now filled with guppies, an plecos. Not the prettiest tank,but it works great for grow out.

Gentleman the dangers of keeping of a mermaid were well documented by FrontosaurusRex. He said it better than I can so I will leave you with his sage and immortal words......................

I thought i heard you talking" and then you'll lie, "No Tiffany, nobody's talking" and then Sandrina will start splashing around making things even more uncomfortable for you so you turn the lights off again and when you go lay your head down at night to go to sleep you have inappropriate dreams about you and your mermaid and you wake up sweating and you cant go back to sleep and then you're driving to work and you haven't slept and your concentration is all off and you run into a ditch and your car explodes.....

Screw that, i'm never getting a mermaid."
