An often over-looked fish is Danio...there are may kinds, most are very peaceful, good color an movement, an then there are also many rainbows that do good...

Giant danios are a really awesome, active, and pretty fish. You're right about danios often getting looked over. I think a school of giant danios would look really neat along with a few more kinds of fish, maybe even from the same biotope. Might be pretty cool! :)

I had thought about doing all of my red velvet balloon body platties, some black sailfin mollies, the danios, i love the giants, but I absolutely love the zebras, o-cats, maybe some kirbensis of some type, or some apistogrammas????

A large school of Neon's or cardinals with a small school of something large like tin foil barbs and a few odd ball throw in's + O'cats will look really cool.

Fish Gallery has a great selection of community fish. Talk to Don.

They've had some red severums that are 1st rate.

k guys, this is what I have so far,

3 moonlight gourami, am going to ad about 5 or 6 more,
5 tinfoil barbs, that I am getting from Rico for my other pair of red headed cichlids,

there are already 2 pictus cats,

                            am thinking about giant danios,

                            what else?

tank has a pfs substrate, some rocks, and some artificial plants, am getting some lotus to go as a centerpiece in the tank,

any non aggressive cichlids, that will get big, i was thinking severums....

anyother suggestions.....or should i just keep the 3 polleni that I have and get bigger stuff and stay away from the danios, as the polleni could eat them.....
Soon to have tanks up and going again!
