Thanks for all the responces, I don't think that lighting, supplements, or lighting would be a problem for me if I decided to do a planted tank..It would be a very interesting adventure though. LOL.

To all you Petro Guys... Just not my taste... I've had Tropheus and petros before and I love them... just not for this tank... I'm making these two tanks for the main displays in the living room.. and want something more non-hobbiest friendly to look at.

Steve, how the heck have you been Mr. !!!

Phong... Think Chili Red !!! go big or go home!! right??? LOL

Nice. I'm coming over. Let us know what you decide.
      Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

for the 10 fter if you have the money and don't mind using it all on a tank go with the sps reef .that would be sweet!!!!! but it would cost so much to set up and maintain its rediculous. i would do petros and trophs .

          3.5g - Surge Tank

Next weekend?? LOL I wish. Its still in the driveway and I have no idea what to do with it. I barley just figured out where im gonna put it. I need to know what to do with it so I can start building a system for it. If its FW it will definantly be running on a auto drain auto fill system!!! im not goona sit around waiting for it to fill when i do water changes. If I go with planted I gotta build a 50g canister for it... but im really leaning towards salt options right now. reef tank sounds kinda nice.
