What kind of salt is used? And what are some of the differnt reasons? Does anyone use Instant Ocean instead of Aquarium salt? Thanks

I gave up salt 1 1/2 yrs ago and will never use it in my African tanks again. I always used coralife because it comes with a free t shirt in the bucket. A lot of people do use salt and have great success. I researched it and it's not for me. But I gave up dechlorinater also.200
