I took one of my heaters out of my 55 to put in the 10g im going to use for the next couple of weeks.
well i didnt think about turning the heat level knob back down to minimum, and i checked the tank the next morning it was on 92F.
i pulled the heater, turned off the lights and added an air pump.
its been over 24 hours now, theyre all alive and look in good shape.
Did i just shorten their life dramatically? i know people run the temperature upto the high 80's to get rid of ich, but they always say not to do it for more than a couple of hours, mine must have been in the 90's for almost 12 hours.
