  • Angelfish in wedding centerpiece

My cousin and his fiance are fellow hobbiests, and they got married tonight. During the planning process, Amber said she wanted Angels in the centerpieces. I hadn't heard of anyone ever doing it, but figured we'd give it a shot. It turned out great and we didn't lose a single fish. I just wanted to share the pics for anymore of you fishgeeks looking to get married. It's totally doable!

I'm not sure if ya'll can see it, but there's clear tubing running about 2 inches down into the vase and a battery operated bubbler clipped at the top (wrapped in a large plant leaf), so there was constant surface movement.

Sorry for the lack of details last night...I was tired. :)

And a very special thanks to Dustin at Houston Aquarium Warehouse for hooking me up with the exact angels for the bride!

i kept bettas in bowls at all the table at my reception, and then let the children attending take one home each. I know of at least 5 that are still going strong!
