can some tell me what kinda fish i have thought it was a flower horn but been told it isnt.  its 8-10 inches

Vieja Synspilus, great fish. I have two of it's cousins in my tanks. Lots of personality and intellegence.

paratheraps /Vieja/ synspilus - regular occurance of the species.

hard to tell if male or female from the photo.  

great fish - one of the more agressive vieja - yours will get more colorful in about a year or two, regardless of sex.

at larger humped head and more colorful states, or proven breeder, can be highly valued.
