mp-10 for sure bro..... you don't have to run it full blast 24/7 TT. saltwater really needs like a 30-50x flow rate any way. on my 25g i have a K1 and K3 and mag 3 for return. thats about 1400gph or 56x.

What salt mix are you using?

they come with a controller. thats one reason they are so expensive. all the talk on HFB about vortech and you don't even know what they are?

Is the reef crystal providing your soft/hard corals all they need?

Or you need to dose with like calcium and such?

i would say that my bio load as far as corals isn't too bad
5 relativly small sps
alot of zoas
gsp
mushrooms
med. sun coral
small chalice
small black maxima
kenya tree
blue snowflake polyps
hammer coral w/ 3 heads

the fact that i do weekly water changes helps keep the necesary stuff (calcium, mg) in check although i do like to keep those a little higher than most so i dose ...

1 cap of kent tech-m after water change... stays about 1400-1500
and 1 t-spoon of reef calcium after water change .. stays about 500

reef crystals is a good salt mix that alot of people with huge awesome systems on RC use . Sometimes i dose amino acids (when i can get my hands on it) the brightwell stuff seemed to work well for me. i wanna try 'fuel'.

Honestly knowing how you are SW is probably not the best idea... maybe low maint/low light plants with hardly any fauna but other then that I would probably do Iwagumi....
