from some place on my route i have used it befor with no problemsand all i know is that they said florida freshwater stingrays on the tank

I have heard of the same problem you've had (fish dying within a couple hours with no other apparent causes) when using PFS other than Leslie's brand. Actually, two separate cases of the same thing. I don't know why if you've used it before you haven't had problems, but my bet would be on the sand. For PFS, I've learned to use only Leslie's."Millennium hand and shrimp!"

sorry for your loss. I saw those rays in that middle tank and asked about them yesterday. They were there for several months.180g Oceanic w/colony of 8 WC Moba Fronts (1m/7f) purchased from TNT Cichlids in Jan '05 & numerous fry. 1 F1 adult moba male. 2 2217 Eheims, 2 6080 Tunze Streams, WISA airpump, single stage Johnson ETC.....fishkeeping since 1988.

Losing life stock suck no matter how much you spend. In all honesty, I don't see why it's Fish Gallery fault either.

With livestock you never know (especially fish), If they didn't lie to RonR then being alive several month in their tank is pretty good stock to me.
Don't know too much on ray so google and found this. "sudden ray death?"

Another one from the US and it also help explain why the zoo in Calgary was having problem. Looks like it's pointing toward oxygen level.
