Losing life stock suck no matter how much you spend. In all honesty, I don't see why it's Fish Gallery fault either.

The reason it's Fish gallery's fault is becouse if he did nothing wrong,(they even said this) then they sold him bad fish.

If I sold you a car and as soon as it rolled off the lot it blew up wouldn't you consider it my falt? Same thing in this case.

I would hound their store and tell everyone there they sell sick fish. but im @ss.
Hell even petsmart will take back dead fish if your water is good.

I still dont' think it fish gallery fault. Now it would be nice if they do credit some back but it's not my business. This situation could happen to anyone. matter of fact 2 zoo with people who have access to all kind of equipment. And going around chasing customer away? That's a low that I hope no one here would do.

Everybody needs to let this one be.

I know both parties and both are quality people who believe in doing the right thing. I know that they will work out an equitable solution amongst themselves.

I've dropped tons of cash in Fish Gallery over the years and will continue to do so.

If you understand quality and the risk reward of this hobby or anthing else you invest in you understand that eventually the odds catch up with you. Pick up the pieces and try again. A hundered successful still you get bit on the 101st time and start the cycle all over again. Not bad odds at the end of the day if you are a true hobbyist like the people at the heart of this thread.

I know, been there done that and could have started many a thread over such issues.

The principals haven't spoken in quite sometime so how do we know that they haven't reached a solution?

All I can testify to is that Don & FG have never not stepped up to the plate for me weather I was at fault or maybe it was something on their side. Oh the days of the saltwater fiasco i created during the spring of 06.

Do any of you old timmers here remember Steve back in the old days when it was Village TRopical Fish? He and Don may be the best duo there has ever been in the trade so far as Houston goes.

samething happened to the rays we had at FR2. we got them in and they were fine for like 3 days. suddenly all of them were :icon_hang: this was only with the second batch. the first batch the all found a home and two of the customers are still comming in for ghost shrimp. not sure what fish gallery's policy is but we sold one of the rays from the second batch before they all died and when the customer came back we gave him store credit since we believe it was just a bad batch.

never did get anything from them they just gave me the run around for example the assistant manager had to talk to the manager and the manager had to talk to the owner but the owner is never around to talk to i just got fed up and cut my losses oh well

im sure if it was up to Don he would have gave you some kind of credit. He always looks out for me and is a great guy.
