  • Firemouth and Jaguar Cichlids...

    All,

I have been trying to sell Firemouth and Jaguar Cichlids at a whopping $2 a piece, but the interest has been... Well... a wee bit on the light side....

Is it due to the size / color or what?

Should I give up and use them for food for the bigger guys?

That seems like a fair price to me, but I wouldn't want to put those in a community tank.

I would give them away before feeding them to other fish.

Have you tried getting a store credit at your LFS?

You might need to travel to a few stores.. what size are they ?
Jags and firemouths you need to get them to be at least 2" before a store is going to look at them. I would contact several stores. Right now everyone is tight.. and so do the LFS too.. they have to be tight with their fish and how much they can sell off.
