I saw this the other day on a thread, but I can't find it now. What I'm looking for is a rock that is black and huge. I saw someone post it as an update to their tank. Anyone know what kind of rock I am talking about?

Was it igneous, perchance? Something I've wondered about but never seen for sale is volcanic rock. Maybe most of it is just too soft.
Anyway, I too look forward to an answer to your question.Trogdor was a man. Or maybe he was a dragon man. Or maybe he was just a dragon. But he was still TROGDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR!
You know, fish are great. I love my fish. But what I really want is a monkey.

Sounds like Black Magma rock. I got mine at Nepco. Here's their website: http://www.nepco.cc
If they don't have what you want, I have a lot of it left over from when I did my tank. I'd sell it for what I paid for it. You can see the rocks in my journal pics. The rocks I have left over are mostly larger rocks.Vicki

I think the rock's name was George...
MarkWhat are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

black and huge that really narrows it down. I have large black granite rocks in my tank.
