  • Question: fish tanks and pesticide bombs

I don't recall if the subject has come up before in the past couple of years, but I am curious, can I use those common household bug bombs in the house with my fish tanks up and running?

I'll be doing more research on this, but would like to know if anyone else has crossed this bridge before??

    Thanks

I think my brother has done this before with his tanks up and running. I believe he just covers them with big trash bags(plastic) just to be safe.

I covered with sheets and plastic and turned my filters and airstones off. I had no problems.

defiantly dont leave an air stone on, that would basically be injecting pesticide straight into your tank!

I have done this, and no matter what I have done my shrimp always die. I have gotten my fish to live through it by covering with platic bags, but the shirmp always die.
