dude, i asked myself the same question a few months back and i got a real small group of them and found no joy in them. I really think its a status thing on here. No offense to anyone but they are just fish. I see my brothers' tanks and thats all he keeps (and Petros) and they do nothing for me. Some of them are pretty, but most of them are very plain. I'm sure we'll both get a bunch of flack for saying this but oh well. :icon_hang:

i have kept ALOT of different fishes, and many of them were just as cool if not cooler then trophs.
its a neat interesting fish to keep.

I do not own any, and really cant give that much tank space to one colony. But I got some tropheops and they are really neat. But I know some people that are the same way with the aulonocara/peacock cichlids.
