A bristlenose pleco would help with the algae but if its black beard algae then I don't know.

Nice looking fish in those tanks!

Daisymac, you need to set some time aside for your little love ones!   I clean 6 tanks every week and two of them are 6ft. The looks the fish give after a nice water change is rewarding enough to get me doing it religously!

Ek, I do take time for them - that's why my DH gets jealous. :?  I even bought another power filter because I wasn't happy with the water quality. I love my "fishie boys!" :love:

Best thing I did was get that python! That speeds up the process.

mayb  I can pick up some Bristlenose at the auction. I had to use a toothbrush and bleach last time.

they work great and I have noticed that the higher ph/hardness turns them orange almost in the albinos!
