  • Where to buy intake tube for canistar filters?

Need a couple intake tubes with strainers. Where can I get some here on the NW side of town. Looking for 3/4 inch. Kind of need them now or I would have ordered them online already. Thanx

Yeah cant go wrong with either CP (City Pets) of FR (Fish Ranch). Or pay fshfrk to make you one since the gas getting down to that part of town will cost you more than making a trip to his place

Common! i already spend 6 bucks on two strainers. I don't want to use white PVC. Let me see what i come up with...

This is what i have...and exactly what i want so far...now i need a 180 degree u bend...some suction clams and i'll be done...cant find anything to fit this tubing though...argh

              On both of the above.

That clear tubing is going to show that "gunky" build-up after a couple months of use. It's not a big deal...but it is an eye sore.

I hear ya...but if we can manage to clean our tanks once or twice a month...whats another minute to just stick a squeegee in there and then pop it right back in. I like the clear pipe instead too. So i'm still trying to find that 90 degree U tube...? I did a research on painting PVC too but, decided to keep it clear if i could. just personal preference......

If you want a clear tube, then that's all that matters. I've been just razzing about the paint. Our tanks are for our pleasure, and it is our variety and creativity that makes this hobby so much fun.

Please post when you figure out how to get what you're wanting. I'd love to see pics, too!
