how to wash aragonite sand

This is my first time using this stuff and it is SUPER cloudy. what is the best method of washing this stuff? Can the cloudiness harm fish that are in the tank with it???

Wash in a cooler or bucket before you put the stand in the tank dude. Just add water, move sand around, remove water, repeat until it clears up.

I don't believe in "live" sand. I wash everything that goes into my tank....not just the sand.

I rinsed mine in 5 gallon buckets,and also the cloudiness settled down in a few days.
