I don't know about "correctly", but I just power-washed the THR that I got in Burnet (sp?) with regular water and threw it in a tank.Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

I used bleach. I filled a 15 gal tote with rock and water, added 2 cups of bleach and let it sit all weekend. It came out nice and clean. A few rinses later it was put in the tank.
MarkWhat are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? )...I just bleached some that I got last time I was there. just use a 1:3 ratio of bleach to water and let it soak for a couple days and then wash the rocks off and let them sit in the sun for like 2 or 3 days...this is when they get really white.250gallon-Wild Angels, community
