They can co-exist with no real problems. Burundi is a name given to the fish because of its collection point in Burundi. The 7 striped Frontosa is a Kigoma Frontosa. Im not sure if Kigoma is a collection point or just a name. Ill do some research for us and find out if the two species will cross breed...Im thinkin no but I'll find out for sure. Let's see some picsIf it ain't wild caught

They will definately cross breed. As a matter of fact...all Fronts / Gibberosa will cross breed. I have personally seen a cross bred Burundi and Kigoma. They can be housed together with no problem as long as they are not of breeding age and size.

pull that fish...cross breeds should not happen. and they WILL if you leave them together. This is NOT nature...its an aquarium. I wouldnt go as far as to say kill an accidental hybrid fry, but lets reduce those chances where we can. Ultimately, they are your fish and if you want to leave them together then do so....but if you sell fry...be honest of what they are.250gallon-Wild Angels, community
