Hope to have my 175 gallon bow front running in the next 4 weeks. Currently I have 3 Parrot Cichlids (one may have to find a new home because he/she is being a bit of a bully towards the other 2) , 3 bosemani Rainbow (will be increasing these) 2 Turquoise Rainbow (lost the other 3 to my mother in law so have to get more ) and I might move my pair of Pearl Gouramis as well (depending on what everyone comes up with). I also have some rams that I may or may not move at a later date. Hubby is wanting to see some other larger fish in this tank so I need ideas of what can live with the stock I have going in there.

Talk to mark razmandi and tater tot about geos, they'll point you in the right direction. BTW geo is short for geophagus, they are a relatively peaceful south american cichlid know for their beautiful fin and tail trailers and their tendency to continually sift throough the sand. (geo = earth and phagus = eater)Haiku's are easy
But sometimes they don't make sense

I think we are going geos (thanks for explaining that one when you called) more rainbows, some sliver dollars and Severums. I am going to move some of them Swords in the tank but plan to keep the mother plant in the 55. I am sure I will be having to replace the ones in 175 lol. If this one Parrot does not stop his bulling I may bring him down to you. Looking forward to us getting together and going fish shopping despite the fact David and Marty are going to kick our butts lolSoon to have tanks up and going again!

I am also a HUGE fan of just about anything from Lake Tanganyika. I'm partial to Frontosas but I really would like to see a really big Cyprichromis tank. Armthehomeless (Tim) has one thats really nice but I would like to see a tank FULL of them. I have some Discus I'm trying to sell if they interest you at all.If it ain't wild caught

I know there is a rumor going around that Discus are "difficult" fish to care for, but in my experience, they are no harder to deal with than any other fish I've ever kept. They require clean water like any other fish. So have you decided for sure yet what you're gonna do with this tank?If it ain't wild caught
