Which Walmarts carry them? Walmart Humble is one of the ones that stopped selling fish, Walmart Porter doesnt have any puffers.

Jose: What water do you keep him in?

I was ssssllllllllloooooowwwwwwwllllllyyyyyyy acclimating it to brackish which it was but I fell off the wheel and probably in the middle of fresh and brackish right now. I got mine from the Wal-Mart on I-10 and Freeport St., but lately I haven't seen any there. Although I haven't been to Wal-Mart in weeks. I used to go at least twice a week but now I just let my wife go. One less person goes, less money spent

ive got a 29 setup ready for a puffer, ive got a 10 full of snails. All i need now is the puffer.

What other puffer could i get instead of a green spotted that wont require saltwater, and wont get bigger than around 6".

Actually, they need at least a 55g. I had mine in a 60g but sold it and now I have it in a 30g. I'm looking to get at least a 75g for it within the next couple weeks.

Fish RanchII has some really cool "freshwater Triggers" which look like vertically flattened puffers which are cool looking!!!

City Pets has Red tail puffers.

Haha. Well of course a 55 would be ideal. But I'd go at LEAST 30.
