As you guys know 175 is up and running with only a few minor correction that had to be made (thanks to everyone who helped me). So baby girl (my daughter) was kind enough to give me a lot of her guppies she had raised off to cycle the tank along. If any was lost in the process no hard feelings because she had a lot of them. Now let me tell from a newbie point of view I thought this was great. No lose of costly fish and we could speed the cycle along as well as something to look at in the tank. WRONG! Over flows and guppies do not mix! I have spent more time up on a ladder the last two days fishing dang guppies out of the over flow boxes than I care to think about. Some times I noted it looked like some of the same ones over and over. I was really starting to think these guy thought they on a ride at Splash Town and was starting to enjoy it. Needless to say rather than chase down two doze guppies in a tank this size I pulled out the good old Needle Point canvas and set out to make the over flows "Guppy Proof". Now maybe tomorrow I can get a little more done other than standing on a ladder chasing guppies in the over flow

I feel your pain! When we add guppies to our big tank (as food), I think more of them go into the overflow and then to the sump, than actually get eaten. At one point, I gave up on fishing them out and swear they started multiplying in the sump. )Our Fishhouse
