    Okay . . . so I'm an addict.

I ran out of room for aquariums at my house. I recently acquired another tank - a four foot 150 gallon tank (4'x2'x2.5'). Problem is. . . I ran out of room for aquariums at my house. Here is where I got my creative side to start working. I managed to convince a friend that their place would benefit from the addition of an aquarium (a 4ft 150g to be exact)

Here is what we agreed upon:

It remains my tank. I pay for the setup, maintenance, and any necessary fish and or equipment. This shouldn't be too much of a problem since I plan to do all the maintenance/setup myself. Plus, I'm over there fairly frequently . . . so I get to enjoy the tank as well. They will perform daily feedings (and pay the energy bill).

So far I only have a tank, stand, and light. The current light is a 48" double fluorescent light. I want to keep the tank fairly low maintenance since I will not be there everyday. I want to do something "different". Any ideas on what to stock it with? I'm really open to anything . . . aside from hybrids. I'll determine filtration based upon what is decided.

Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Maybe an African tetra tank, I have always wanted to try one out. With a tank that size you could have a lot of different options and a range of differing inhabitants.

          A tank full of Barbs.

Green ones and albinos or tiger barbs.

Big green ones are really cool.

          And a lot of filteration.

I've done several barb tanks in my office because i consider them easy and low maintenance.

I currently have a 36 bow front and 20 odessa barbs it's a nice easy tank.

Thats funny now I really want to come over and see the place. No official vote as to what you should do as I seem to have a penchant for the weird. I think a rope tank with inexpensive shiny fish would be fun.

How about four eyes? They would certainly be intriguing and in a tank that large could truly fill out their proper size. You could fill the emptier spaces with some smaller brackish species or even play with some smaller mangroves.

That sounds good. I like the idea of putting small fish in this tank. Are pygmy corydoras harder to keep that regular cories?

If I did that, they would not go to anyone's house other than my own!

Would that the the best thing considering the dimensions?
