Lot of potential....suggestions already made--would be a great discus tank. You wouldn't need that many. Get a Koralia 4 powerhead and get some movement. Get an Eheim 2260 or 2262. Man, I love the driftwood but join the crowd on water clarity with certain pieces. For a big tank, you got a lot of possibilities on types of fish--the dicus coloration (a red variant) would be great with the wood. You got a real hodgepodge on fish and you need color--just an opinion.
Good luck.

Thank you, I know it's a odd stock but that's what I like about it. I should get some more fish this weekend. I'm heading to Houston to go fish shopping. I plan on getting very color stuff. It's just a matter of finding them. I have thought about discus but I just can fig hour if I really like them
Or not. I am also picking up a 2260 sat. And hopefully that will help clear the water. But I agree, it needs to get crispy! I regret going with pool filter sand. It was to dirty and it's what is killing the the water clarity.46 gallon bow front

You will not regret the sand in the long run. with a good filter the water will clear. There is also a chemical you can add to the water that will clear it up. I try not to use it often due to I hate adding chemicals, but it does work. Have fun fish shopping. Where all do you plan to stop (which stores).Fishtafarian- Fish are more than just a hobby, they are an obsession.

Fish Paradise is closed. You should add AquaZoo (for local store) and Fish Gallery (amazing store). Houston Aquarium warehouse and Aquarium world are diffidently good stops.Fishtafarian- Fish are more than just a hobby, they are an obsession.

Sorry It has been so long since a update. So, I got some new fish put in the 240 and I also have some growing in my 46 gallon right now. I also bought a eheim 2260 to add to the 2 xp3's but It needs a new o-ring and 2 new clamps, so I am waiting for those to come in. I also planted some grass in the corners of the tank. I'm new to the plant thing so I don't know how it is going to work. The water has gotten 100000 time clearer, but I think there is still room for improvement and I hope once i get the 2260 up and running it will get CRISPY! SOOOOOO here is some pics of the tank and fish! ENJOY!
