  • Want to put big rock in the tank

I have two big rocks adding upto around 30-35 lb...I have a 55G on a metal stand. The stand is regular one which supports all 4 sides not the entire base...

Is it a good Idea to put those rocks in the tank or will I be pushing my luck too far?!?!?!

    Thanks.

i dont think it would be a problem. put egg-grate under the rocks to spread the weight.

When you intitally put the rocks in, do it when the aquarium is half full of water. The rock will be lighter under water.

Trust me....30-35 lbs. of rock won't hurt a thing in your 55 gallon tank . Go ahead...add your rocks and enjoy .
