    Fish ID

    So I just picked up this guy from petco. He was in the assorted cichlid tank. He has blotchy spots like my blotch zebra but his colors are very vibrant. He is purplish blue and orangish red with black spots. And It looks like he has some striping too.Here are some pics. Sry they are not that good or clear this little guy would not stay still!

    It's some sort of Hybrid . You may never find out what combo of fish produced your fish .

      Peacock. Probably hybrid.

        Somebody told me it was a ob peacock. (Orange blossom)

          OB Peacock. The OB used to be Orange Blossum, but over the years when other hybrid fish showed up in the industry, the OB was labeled to any fish with "Opaque Blotches" and all colors where allowed into the definition.

            OB is rumored to have been a cross between Aulo. nyassae and some sort of mbuna.

              i know some people do not like this hybrid, but I think some looks awesome. Yours is one of the good looking ones.
