My house is being invaded by ants. What are my options or ideas I should do to help eliminate these guys with out hurting my fish? Keep in mind I have 6 tanks inside the house and 3 in the garage. Thanks in advance.

Ortho Ant Killer. Spread it around the entire perimeter of your house and on top of any visible beds. Also helps to pour into the cracks in the driveway and porch areas. Guaranteed ant genocide. Enjoy

I spread half a bag of Ortho around my house and spot sprayed the visible ones. I will dump the rest of the bag when I get home later. What about bug bombing the whole house?

+1 on the Ortho or similar dry product. Ants will seek this stuff out and take it home to the queen. It won't be immediate, but it will definitely work.

Bug bombs are not a good idea.

also check out Boric Acid (Borax) powder....careful around dogs, cats, kids, etc that would eat it, but works for most kinds of ants, but not the "crazy" or raspberry ants

Borax worked for my ant problems. When I was young my dad would put bath towels over the top of the aquariums in the house when the bug people would come to spray the house. Not sure if it did much, but kinda made sense.
