couple of new fish for the 240 gallon

Today I went and got a couple of new fish I got a Salvini ( AKA Salvin's Cichlid ,Yellow-Belly Cichlid ,Tricolor Cichlid), a Bulldog Pleco ( aka, Rubber/Rubbernose/Rubberlip Pleco (L187b)) and a Dimidiochromis Compressiceps (aka,the Malawi Eye Biter Cichlid) I only got some pics of the bull dog pleco and the salvini and the pics arnt that great. I couldnt really get a pic of the Malawi eye biter because he was swimming around and he also had four pellets of food shoved in his mouth hahaha. The tank was pretty messy because I just fed the fish. I'm going to clean the tanks service the filters and do water changes tomorrow and try to get some better pics

oh and the pleco went in my 46 gallon not my 240

watch out for that D. Compressiceps, those guys are FAST and AGGRESSIVE.

he is the smallest guy in the tank right now so hopefully he will be ok. I know they get big though....if it turns out to give me problems ill probably go get trade for him once he gets a bit bigger

I've learned that D. Comprisseps goes great with sa/ca cichlids in the past. they are just as aggressive as anything else out there and anything they can't hold their own against they can out swim in a flash. very hearty too. good choices.

thanks hopefully i can get some better pics to night. I started to service the two tanks about 2 hours ago and Im getting close to done then im going to get my 2260 up and running on the tank.
