Austin Fish Stores

Looks like I'm going to be in Austin tomorrow/Saturday around the183/Mopac intersection.

Any good fish stores up there?

Yup! I really like Amazonia and AquaTek.

The closest to 183 and mopac are Aquatek and RIvercity

It looks like Amazonia is in the same general region as Aquatek, just on 35 and a smidge further south...did I get the right page when I googled that?

Aquatek is about 4 blocks from my sister's and 2 from where I'll be staying, so that is a definite hit.

Any other suggestions welcome!

Aquatek - take burnet exit
Rivercity - take the exit after McNeil
Amazonia off 35 heading north (between airport blvd and home depot on the feeder) and VERY easy to pass.

Aquatek heading north on 183, turn left on burnett and its on the left.
Rivercity aquatics the exit is spicewood springs if I'm not mistaken. Its kind of hidden near this chicken farm thing but just take the first right after that and circle around.

And don't forget aquadome. Its kinda out there but there's some cool stuff there from time to time.

Man, Amazonia is not in that shopping center anymore. They have their own spot now near Airport and i35.

Aquadome is so out of the way for them. If you go there, take 71 back to Houston instead of trying to get back to 290.

I was in Pflugerville about two weeks ago and we passed Amazonia on the way home from 6th st one night. I wanted to go, but forgot about it by the time I woke up next day!!!

Only good Austin site I know of is a reef site. LOL.
